65. Not GenX - Social Media Content

GenX (that's me...)
is a generation who did not grow up with mobile phones, internet and social media. so it takes us (us = GenX's) a while to dig how millenials & post millenials live with social media 24/7.

i guess it's simply a lack of understanding and unwillingness to accept how the millenials are experiencing life differently (and vice versa - how millenials are unable to comprehend that GenX never had any idevice when growing up)

And it's no surprise that nobody had given any benefits for allowing this bridge of understanding between the various generations -

Baby Boomers
GenX
GenY (Millenials)
GenZ (Post Millenials)

WHY IS IT NOT IMPORTANT 
FOR EACH GENERATION 
TO ACCEPT EACH OTHER?

WHY IS IT NOT IMPORTANT 
FOR EACH GENERATION 
TO UNDERSTAND HOW OTHERS 
SEE THEM SUCH THAT THEY CAN LEARN 
TO WORK, LIVE & PLAY TOGETHER?

but duh, don't we need to understand each other instead of calling each other "entitled" or "cynical"?

of course, the layman uses
"entitled" to explain millenials
and "cynical" to describe GenX

uh oh. we all have labels.
and which smartass gave us those names? LOL

also, the older we get, the more resistant we are to change or learn new things :((((

I DON'T MIND BEING OLD
AS LONG AS I DON'T THINK OLD

i think everyone has the gift to draw, write, make music or create. we seem to lose or forget that confidence to express ourselves in these ways. i have students who do well when they find their voices in their craft. i think it's not because they're young, but because they allow themselves the freedom to explore etc...

shouldn't we all be free to explore, play & learn at any age?
