72. Why Birds??? 3a - After Grooming, SOMEBODY got HURT

after the grooming,
somebody got HURT.
SOMEBODY

the best thing that happened...
while we held hawkeye for about half an hour,
there was NO bird shit Lol!!

hawkeye got hurt Lol (the yellow one)

mummy found him/her entangled in a ball of white thread.

after looking at the surrounding objects, we realized that the white threads were from the underside of the bamboo cover - the birds have been biting the bamboo mat!! geez

we separated hawkeye from the others but the other 2 (Rio & Pistachio) kept calling for him... especially pistachio.

seeing each other in separate cages seem to make them anxious and restless.

so i covered the side of the cage with a newspaper and it made hawkeye a lot calmer.

even when calm and injured, hawkeye was still climbing all over the new cage... ugggh

there - hawkeye climbing all over despite leg injury.
but i guess that's good news?

when we first saw hawkeye, these pics were taken to show the injury...

we bundled hawkeye within the cloth for at least 30min 

(to keep him very still) 

before we returned him to the cage 

but that's where & when bleeding started again :/

And they seem to be fighting and pecking each other - before the "accident"
