EYE CHECK UP AT SNEC

my 1st eye specialist appointment was on 8 Sep 2021 Wed
Station1 - Eye Pressure Test
(machine blows out air)
Station 2 - Eye Vision Test
my prescription for spectacles
high astig and keratoconus makes the eyes blurry sometimes. got to blink to make my vision clearer. the doctor testing my eyes say that the eyes are quite dry and i have quite good vision (no short sightedness). some long-sightedness has set in but i don't really notice it because of the astig/keratoconus condition.
Station 3 - Dilation Centre + Doctor Check/Consult

stinging eye drops to dilate the eyes so that they can check my eyes using light. they also measured my eye pressure with a tool and looked inside the eye to check the retina and floaters.
the consultant found some bleeding inside my eye.
when the resident doctor (Dr Debra Quek) discussed with a senior Consultant, glaucoma and keratoconus conditions were mentioned in the discussion. but they did not have any diagnosis at the end of the consult. will have to wait and see the results after a more detailed scan at the next visit to the eye hospital.

they also checked on other things and used a yellow dye
Station 4 - Quick Eye Scan & Photos
3rd floor - Eye Scan - they took photos of the eye -
the resident doctor said the scan photos look ok!
despite this initial scan, a more detailed scan with a more advanced machine is needed.
Conclusion -
since the bleeding of the eye is spotted, they need to see me 4-6 weeks after this appointment. then, they will do a more detailed scan of the eyes.

so went to SGH A&E
eye specialist on duty that night got me an appointment
at the singapore national eye centre SNEC
on wed, 8 sep 2021.
