mum’s handiwork - beaded shoes, peranakan style.

took a few months to sew each bead one by one. final touches at a shop in malacca.

at one point, we both didnt quite like these shoes, and didn’t dare wear them.

but now, i’ll show it off for you, mee.

wore them for a golden wedding anniversary party -
