Slanting and Sloping Floors 😱😱

We reached the flat at about 11.45am. they said they have already laid about 5 rows since they started work this morning (at around 9am). Most tiles have already been laid when i arrived.

but as i looked at the new flooring...

the floor looked as if it's tilted! the left side of floor rises to a higher level and centre of room is of lower level. the floor then slopes upwards from the centre towards the right. the 2 slopes seem to meet at the position where the old tiles popped up! omg 😱😱😱

or could it be my bad eyesight?

materials used

tiles from Hafary FML6871

Adhesive - contractor says this uses some acid to help the cement bind. should be stronger than what contractors used 10 years ago. (i think previous contractor mixed sand with cement for the tiling work.)

they tell me that it takes about 3-4 hours for the cement-adhesive to dry.
