GARDENING 101 -
Er... No, i don't really have Green Fingers 😢
my green fingers ain't green enough! ugh
unlike some green-finger naturals, i have absolutely no talent.
i kill plants.
i let pretty weed flowers grow.
our garden is a mess - both front and back...
i was trimming some flowering plant and accidentally snipped off the gorgeous flowers! oh nooooo! arrgh! i really liked those flowers :( whyyyy so clumsy?
the plants i grow that survive, i'm not sure how long they will last.
but lately, with some super easy growing plant types, like pandan, money plant and 9 o'clock flowers, i'm beginning to feel less of a plant-murderer.
List:
herbs, food plants
- pandan baby to pot plant
- curry leaves - baby
- limau purut tree
- spring onions
- ginger
- papaya little tree
- lemongrass
- sage
(south africa herb that lim tzur didi gave and i thought had died)
flowering and house plants
- orchids
- 9 o clock flowers
- mommy's potted flowers x3 - like a baobab type of mini tree
- creeper purple flowers on front garden fence
- keng hua - not looking good
- unidentified plant in pot - leaves look like thin spines
- money plant - gift from hwi ching
- mummy's pots of plants i can't identify - about 6 pots

i call this my stupid type of gardening.
after ben's wedding ceremony on 5 Nov 2022, i brought home some gorgeous white roses, white lilies and baby's breath! so i thought... maybe if i'm lucky, these roses might just grow... ???
ha, no. they died on me.
thankfully, my 9 o clock flowers and onions are sprouting nicely!
the weeds in the garden seem to be blooming as well...
and has attracted all sorts of butterflies, especially the tiny little ones
maybe weeds is my thing?

actually, my 1st attempt was a fail :(
i tried to plant them in the flower bed along the fence but they got overthrown by cow grass!
when i restarted growing new ones, i put them in a pot with fresh soil. they are blooming and getting fat!

papaya trees are growing...
my onions and ginger also grow...!
i have a baby curry leaf plant from seed - it's kinda growing, very very slowly!

pandan in Sept onwards...
curry leaf baby - from seed...
it sprouted quite nicely
but later died :( eww
ginger and onions in my kitchen...
why are they growing???

mummy's flowers are starting to bloom... after i water them with the liquid from washing rice - rice water. hmmm...
the orchids lasted for about 1.5 months!

beginning to see flower buds -
quite a weird but pretty creeper purple flower
suddenly buds just appear!
