Our Garden in Nov 2022
18 Nov 2022
back garden not cut or tidied since aug 2022 as our garden help has retired :(
i feel better that the mango, chiku, soursop, rambutan and jumbu trees and overgrown pandan have been chopped down. it would be nice to get that hand held cordless grass cutter our gardener used - the one that uses a plastic ties as blades. i have half a mind to tile up the back garden or place a farming/landscaping black mat to kill off the weeds and start over.
jamie planted the papaya tree in oct. looks like it's doing ok.
a wild banana tree is sprouting at the left corner... should i remove it?
my limau purut tree makes me proud, even though i'm afraid of its thorns and the many praying mantis insects residing there Lol
my baby pandan has grown quite big. they seem to be quite healthy and i really want to go get some leaves for my kitchen as soon as we manage to get our grass cut Lol
this is the story of my back garden, since i took over from end 2021, with zero (or minus) knowledge in gardening. sigh. i wish i learnt about gardening sooner and faster! i'm beginning to enjoy gardening!

And less plants growing from cracks or through the stones!
