Handover (Bob) - 8 Oct 2023

Bob handover the flat on 8 Oct 2023 4pm.
he left behind these:
- white ikea table
- ikea chairs - one white one black
- standing mirror
- mirror on the wall - outside bedrooms
- black foldable table (laptop size)
- solid wood square coffee table
- 4 standing fans
- dusty floor
- one white bowl, one white plate
- some things stuck on wall

i want to bring home
- 2 ikea chairs - one white, one black
- foldable small table
- oven (did not bring home)



Things to do for next tenant:
before 1 Nov 2023

1. 16 Oct - throw bulk items AMK TC - $20
(1st 3 pcs FOC)
- sofa x2 pcs
- glass coffeetable x1
- king size bedframe x2 pcs
- fridge x1

note: bed frame headboard is missing!

2. 15 Oct - paint $850
master bedroom - ceiling, 1 wall
master toilet - ceiling
common toilet - ceiling

3. 26 Oct - service aircon (Bob - $50) & clean house (Melinda/Bob/Desmond - $300)
4. 27 Oct - order, deliver, install new king size fabric bed frame $169
5. 27 Oct - check common bedroom items and arrange (scroll down for pics)
6. 29 Oct - handover to next tenant

town council - booked 16 Oct 2023 Mon 2-5pm

Maximum can key in is only 5pcs max. 
When guys come jus pay them some tips 
and they will dispose the 6th item for u. Thks.

paid town council $5 x2 = $10
tipped the 2 helpers $10

note: old king size bed frame headboard is missing!



2. cleaning - done 26 Oct 2023 and
3. get new king size bed frame for master bedroom - done 27 Oct 2023

Cleaning will be done on 26th October - Melinda - FOC 
- Melinda paid $300 for professional cleaners (Desmond),  
Usual price $400 

Melinda: Bob has reimbursed part share to me. 
It’s ok.  (don't need to share costs)

- did not clean common bedroom

Bed frame can deliver on 27th or 28th October pls.

3. service aircon (master bedroom) - yee guan 
- bob will pay $50 - done

4. Bob's wooden coffee table - done
- shift into the room - need help or old towel / cloth

5. Brian - works to be done - Sun 15/10, 9am - done
Hello boss, contractor Brian quoted below for painting. 
…..
$750 for below. 
1) Paint master toilet ceiling. 
2) Paint master bedroom ceiling and 1 side of wall only. 
Using Oil sealant, 
Putty and White paint for above.

He need to scrap ceiling near window side. 
Hv spalling issues too. 
Will paint whole ceiling after tat.

$100 for ceiling common bathroom - 
- scrap.. re putty. And paint

total $850 - PAID

Hello Melinda, 

explain to owner tat there is a lot of works involved when come to repair n painting spalling walls. 

We need to buy paint, deliver paint, lay protection n do taping n scraping of walls.

My advice is tat to paint half ceiling is no difference and will look very ugly then. Most work is done on affected ceiling. I did not even increased my transport charges. My quote is the lowest at $750. 

Do hope owner will understand as manpower has increased too. We need 2 workers to do the jobs.
Melinda u know tat I will follow up with retouch if u find no good when u come inspect after u back Spore. Pls do explain to owner. Thk you.

no faux leather, was offered fabric bed frame instead
no choice but had to accept
